Description This laser safety micro course serves as refresher training for existing Laser Safety Officers and will address key points needed to know in how to interpret Section 4 – Control Measures of ANSI Z136.1 "Safe Use of Lasers" standard. Information and examples of fully enclosed to fully open beam paths and how to best control them are covered as well as safe laser beam alignment practices. This micro course will benefit both industrial/manufacturing environments as well as university/research lab environments. Total run time is approximately 80 minutes. Attendees have 7-days to complete starting from the first login.
